What happens next

  1. Tell us the basics

Business, city, website and the problem to solve.

  2. We review it

We look at your site and local search results first.

  3. We talk it through

A senior strategist calls you back with specifics.

Three ways to reach us

Call (604) 632-4959 when you'd rather talk it through. Calls are best for a first conversation about whether we fit, and for anything urgent with an existing account.

Text (604) 632-4959 when you're between jobs or on a site. A short text is fine: your name, company, town and one line about what you need. We'll reply by text or set up a call.

Email Ali@Sedighi.ca when you have numbers, links or screenshots to share. Email is the right channel for anything we'll need to refer back to, such as current ad reports or a list of the towns you serve.

What to include in your first message

You don't need a brief. But the more of these you include, the more useful our first reply will be:

  • Your company name, website and the trade or trades you work in.
  • The towns or region you serve, and any you want to grow into.
  • Roughly how long you've been in business and how many crews or vehicles you run.
  • Where most of your work comes from today: referrals, Google, ads, builders, repeat customers.
  • What's prompting you now: a slow season, a new service, a bad experience with another agency, a new town.
  • If you know them: your average job value and how many of your quotes you win.

Copy this into your text or email, swap the brackets for your details, and send:

Hi, I'm [Your name] from [Business name], a [trade] company in [City]. We've been operating [number] years with [number] trucks. Most of our work comes from [source]. We want more [type of job] in [towns]. Our average job is about [$ amount]. Best time to reach me is [day and time].

What happens after you get in touch

  1. We reply, usually within one business day, to confirm a time for the free 30-minute consultation or to ask a quick question.
  2. The consultation. You talk with a senior strategist about your numbers, your market and what you've tried. We'll look at your website and Google presence beforehand so the time isn't wasted.
  3. A written recommendation. If we think we can help, you get a short written plan with the scope, the monthly price from our pricing page and the numbers we'd be judged on. If we don't think we fit, we'll say so and, where we can, point you somewhere better.

Nothing starts until you agree in writing, and nothing auto-renews into a long contract.

Before you contact anyone

Whether you call us or another agency, a few minutes of preparation pays off. Pull last month's call count if your phone system shows it. Note your three main competitors, the ones customers mention when they say they "got another quote". Check that you can log in to your own Google Business Profile, domain and website; if you can't, that's worth raising early. The FAQ covers ownership questions, and the services page explains each type of work we do.

A note on who you'll be talking to

Your first conversation is with a senior strategist, and Ali Sedighi, MBA leads strategy across Trades.Agency and the wider Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group. We're based in Vancouver and work with trades companies across Canada; the about page has the background. We are a marketing and consulting firm, so we can't send a technician or quote on trade work; if you're a homeowner looking for a contractor, please contact a licensed local company directly.

Frequently asked questions

Should I call, text or email?

Whichever suits you. Call if you want to talk now, text if you're on a job site, email if you want to send numbers or links. All three reach the same people.

What time zone are you in?

Pacific time. Our hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific, which is noon to 9 in Ontario and Quebec and 1 to 10 in the Atlantic provinces. Messages sent outside those hours are answered the next business day.

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. The initial 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses, and there's no obligation afterwards.

Will you share my information?

No. We use your details only to reply to you and to prepare for the conversation you asked for. We only email people who contact us first.
