Trades.Agency has three monthly plans, Growth, Elite and Enterprise, starting at $1,999 a month. Annual billing lowers each price by a quarter or more. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and trades companies add GST/HST for their province (GST and QST in Quebec). The full, current plan details are always on trades.agency/pricing; this page explains them and helps you choose.

The three plans

Plan Month to month Billed annually In short
Growth $1,999/month $1,499/month The core marketing work, sized for a trades company that's already established
Elite $3,999/month $2,999/month More channels running at once, and website design packages at half price
Enterprise $7,999/month $5,999/month Its own dedicated marketing team and priority support, with any website package designed and built free

All plans run month to month with no long-term contract, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Annual billing is a discount for committing, not a requirement.

What drives the cost of trades marketing

The plan fee is one part of what you'll spend. Three other things matter just as much:

  1. Ad spend. Paid directly to the platforms from your own accounts. It varies by trade and town: emergency plumbing in a big city costs far more per click than landscaping in a small one.
  2. Your starting point. A company with a good website and a clean Google profile needs less foundation work than one starting from scratch.
  3. How many towns and services you want to win. Three priority towns and four core services is a very different scope from a province-wide push across a dozen services.

How to choose a plan

Work backwards from your numbers, not from the plan names. A rough method:

  • Take your expected annual revenue and decide what share you can invest in winning new customers. Many owners start somewhere between 5% and 10%, but that's your call.
  • Subtract your planned ad spend. What's left is the budget for management.
  • Pick the plan that fits, and be honest about whether you can sustain it for at least six months. Local search and reviews compound; stopping after eight weeks wastes the early work.

A worked example: a company doing $1.2 million a year that sets aside 7% has $84,000 for marketing. If $50,000 goes to ads, about $34,000 remains, which is a little more than Growth at annual billing ($17,988 a year) and a little less than Elite at annual billing ($35,988). That points to Growth now, with Elite once the website needs rebuilding. GST or HST is extra on the plan fee in both cases.

Monthly or annual: a quick comparison

On Growth, annual billing saves $500 a month, or $6,000 over a year. On Elite it saves $1,000 a month, and on Enterprise $2,000. The trade-off is commitment. If you're confident you'll stay a year, annual billing is simple savings; if you're testing whether we fit, start monthly and switch later.

What you get regardless of plan

Some things don't change with the price:

  • Ownership. Your website, domain, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and tracking stay in your company's name.
  • Plain reporting built around calls, booked jobs and cost per booked job.
  • No lock-in beyond the 30-day notice.
  • Honesty about fit. If we think a plan is too much for your stage, we'll tell you.

The services page describes the work itself, and the results page shows what it produced in our HVAC work.

When a plan isn't the right first step

Sometimes the right answer is to wait. If your schedule is booked solid for months, more marketing just creates frustrated customers. If calls already go to voicemail half the time, you need answering and booking fixed first. If you're about to sell the business, a short, focused clean-up may beat a long engagement. The free consultation is where we sort this out. The contact page explains how to book it, and the FAQ covers contracts and cancellations in more detail.

Frequently asked questions

Is ad spend included in the plan price?

No. Advertising spend is paid directly to Google, Meta or other platforms from your own accounts. The plan fee covers our strategy and management work.

What does annual billing change?

Only the price. Annual billing lowers Growth from $1,999 to $1,499 a month, Elite from $3,999 to $2,999, and Enterprise from $7,999 to $5,999. The monthly plans have no long-term contract.

Do prices include sales tax?

No. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and Your invoice adds the rate for your province: 5% GST in the West and the territories, 13% HST in Ontario, 14% in Nova Scotia, 15% in NB, NL and PEI, or 5% GST plus 9.975% QST in Quebec.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. Eligible trades businesses get the first 30 minutes free, and that call sits outside the paid plans. You owe nothing afterwards.
